Chad R. Holstead , President and Founder of Business Knowledge Systems, with a wealth of vast and diversified experience in the information technology field. Mr. Holstead founded Business Knowledge Systems to create a company focused on providing high end consulting services with the specific needs and budgets of small and mid-sized businesses. Throughout his tenure with Business Knowledge Systems, Chad has personally overseen the planning and implementing of a new network infrastructure for the opening of a new bank, launched a technology support program for community banks, organized the network infrastructure and provided technology and network consulting services to numerous clients in a variety of industries including professional service firms, manufacturing and distribution.

Prior to founding Business Knowledge Systems, Chad was employed by Software Specturm’s professional services division. During his time at Software Spectrum, Chad was involved in a range of roles with increasing responsibilities from consultant for an entire enterprise wide system migration to Leading and designing a project of a Windows based infrastructure for a large international organization. 

Chad has extensive experience in design, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft technologies, as well as the community bank applications provided by Metavante. Even today he is still very involved in the operations and service delivery for clients ensuring that the guiding principals of high caliber service to mid-sized clients are never forgotten.

Chad is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and is a regular participant in continuing education courses. Chad holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Computer Science form Illinois State University and is involved in several local charities.
